I'm the type to not speak until spoken to, although once spoken to I may not shut up. I love to travel and it doesn't matter where I go as long as I'm "on the road". Music is one of my biggest passions and I play both guitar and bass, but drumset is my main instrument. I write music and poetry and sometimes combine the two into something like a song. I talk about the world going to hell in a handbasket(made cheaply in China), but think of it in terms of a "still some hope for humanity nonethless" optimism. I don't remember much of my childhood before the age of 13, because everything since then has been much more memorable(for better or worse). I think discussing philosophy is at once the most intelligent and idiotic things you can do. I like using the word asinine to describe things I don't like. For example, I happen to find Generalissimo Bush to be asinine. I'm a night owl even to other night owls, and they wish they were as much of a night owl as me. I drink a lot of water and can't stand soda, although I used to be the exact opposite. I'm a skeptic and a rationalist above all else, and I believe actions speak louder than words. I love to learn about everything(literally) and am always trying to gain knowledge of myself and the world around me. Understanding and acceptance of myself, this crazy world, and the people I share it with is my ultimate goal in life. A guidance counselor once asked me where I wanted to go with my life. After sitting there for 3 minutes in thought I told her, "If I can end up a 70 year old man in decent health and be able to share stories and advice to my grandkids, then I 'll be happy. If I can end my life like that then I don't mind too much what goes on between now and then, because if I end up like that then I must've done something right." Needless to say she couldn't give me much guidance. I'm an idealist at heart but a realist of mind, and I think I get a little better at balancing the two everyday.

I think to reach your goal is (Understanding and acceptance of myself, this crazy world, and the people I share it with is my ultimate goal in life) to simply once in a while read back your posts and just ask a lot of questions on forums and also take the things you loved as a child with you as you grow older. Also if something feels right or good hold on to it. I have this website for chatting and I decided to keep it because I belong there sort of...so..thats my view.

Theres plenty time too change your mind if you TAKE the time to listen to your heart.
